If you’re into barbecue, Roast & Smoke is a must-visit.
For me, it’s the best barbecue in Saigon, period. Proper pit-smoked meat, big flavours and that smoky goodness you want from a BBQ joint.
It’s also connected to Chico’s Pizza, so if you’re going with a group, you’ve got amazing pizza on one side and seriously good BBQ on the other. Everyone wins.
But if you’re only ordering one thing, get the brisket.
And then do yourself a favour and try the pho brisket. Honestly, it might be the best pho you’ll have in Saigon. It sounds simple, but it absolutely delivers.
They’ve got a great beer selection, a relaxed courtyard, and one of my favourite things about the place is that you can actually see the pit smokers working. You know exactly where that smoke is coming from.
The owner is a top bloke, the staff are welcoming, and it’s the kind of place I keep coming back to.

Giới thiệu Roast & Smoke
Cafe kiêm smokehouse ở Thảo Điền: brisket hun khói 12 giờ, cà phê rang tại chỗ, không gian mở thân thiện thú cưng.
Roast & Smoke trên đường Nguyễn Văn Hưởng, Thảo Điền (Quận 2 cũ) là chỗ dành cho người mê thịt hun khói lẫn cà phê ngon. Không gian ngoài trời thoáng, thân thiện với thú cưng, lúc nào cũng thoang thoảng mùi thịt nướng chậm.
Thực đơn xoay quanh kiểu nấu low and slow: brisket hun 12 tiếng, sườn mềm rời xương, pulled pork và bacon tự ướp hun khói. Muốn lạ miệng thì gọi phở brisket hun khói hoặc brisket calzone. Cà phê được rang tại chỗ, từ espresso đậm tới pour-over êm; thêm breakfast bun kẹp trứng và bacon là thành bữa brunch gọn gàng. Quán cũng có happy hour (khung giờ giảm giá đồ uống) cho bia, vang và cocktail.
