If you're looking for somewhere to spend a sunny afternoon in Saigon, The Bricks is hard to beat.
For me, it's the ultimate pool spot in Thao Dien. Big pool, sun loungers, good food, good drinks and a great atmosphere. Basically everything you need for a proper day by the pool.
And it's not just about the pool. The Bricks is always doing something. DJs, events, birthdays, cocktails and plenty of reasons to stick around longer than you planned.
Want the sun? Grab a lounger and settle in. Had enough of sweating? Head inside and cool off. They've also got their new restaurant inside the venue, with pit smokers doing pizzas and smoked meats.
The food is seriously good, the drinks keep flowing and the staff are always welcoming.
It's one of those places where you can turn up for a couple of hours and somehow end up spending the whole day there.

Nhà hàng và quán bar ngoài trời kiểu resort ở Thảo Điền, có hồ bơi, cocktail và món fusion Á – Âu.
The Brix là không gian ăn uống ngoài trời nằm giữa khu Thảo Điền (Quận 2 cũ) nhiều cây xanh, mang cảm giác resort ngay trong thành phố: hàng cọ, ánh đèn ấm, hồ bơi và cocktail pha tay.
Chef Phong Nguyễn xây dựng thực đơn kết hợp hương vị châu Á với kỹ thuật châu Âu, như whipped tofu với nấm Shimeji om và dầu ớt giòn, hay gà non nướng lò củi sốt piri piri. Đồ uống có spicy margarita hay gin spritz để nhâm nhi chậm rãi bên hồ bơi. Ban ngày thì chill, tối đến lên nhạc với DJ và ban nhạc sống, dễ biến “một ly thôi” thành ngồi tới khuya.
