If you're around Pham Viet Chanh (PBC) and looking for somewhere seriously good to eat, Pickles Eatery needs to be on your list.
Lucas Fays, the owner, is an unbelievable host. He's one of those guys who makes you feel welcome the second you walk through the door, and that comes through in the whole experience.
The food is where Pickles really shines. It takes French cooking and mixes it with influences from across the world, without trying to be too clever about it. Just really bloody good food.
My personal favourite? The fucking bone marrow. Get it.
They've also got an excellent wine selection, great staff and a brilliant location right in the middle of PBC, making it an easy spot for a long lunch, dinner or a few drinks with mates.
Great food, great wine, great people. 9/10. Highly recommend.
