Our Italian Kitchen at MAD Wine Bar

Italy’s not as far as you think, in fact, it’s just around the corner this July at MAD Wine Bar, where their Our Italian Kitchen limited time deal is bringing the heart of Italian cooking to the streets of Saigon, three nights a week.

Every Wednesday to Friday this month, Chef Camilla transforms the counter into a little slice of Italy, inspired by her recent culinary adventure through the markets, vineyards, and backstreet trattorias of the motherland. 

What’s on the Menu?

This isn’t your average Italian night. This is rustic and soul-warming food done the way nonna would approve, with a modern Camilla twist, of course.

Sharing Antipasti to Start

Kick things off with a generous spread of small plates, built for sharing (or not, we won’t judge):

• Olives with lemon 
• Octopus and fennel salad dressed in good olive oil.
• Grilled bread with tomato, stracciatella & anchovies 
• Truffle mortadella & pistachio pesto
• Grilled bread salad
• Baked spiced eggplant with tomato and parmesan.

Main Course

Settle in for a bowl of gnocchi in white ragù with fennel sausage, pillowy soft, slow-cooked, and properly comforting. It’s the kind of dish that says “you’re home now.”

And nothing ends a good meal better than a cheeky dessert of cherry, ricotta, and Biscoff.
