The best cocktail bar in Saigon right now, on the evidence, is The Enigma Mansion on Tôn Đức Thắng, which climbed 38 places to No.55 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars in July 2026. Stir, upstairs from Ben Thanh Market, is the other Saigon bar on that list, and Tatler named it Vietnam’s Bar of the Year. In Thảo Điền, our pick is The Racha Room, which our co-founder Olly rates 9 out of 10.
The first six bars below are Saigon Scene partners, so members get 10% off, and we put partners first. The four after them are not partners and are here because the people who judge bars for a living rate them. Every address uses the ward names that replaced the districts in 2025, and every price was checked on 5 October 2026 or is marked as not published.

1. The Racha Room
105–107 Xuân Thủy, An Khánh Ward (formerly Thảo Điền, District 2). Bookings on 0902 931 412.
A Thai-leaning cocktail bar and kitchen on Xuân Thủy, Thảo Điền’s main drinking street, with a lit-up wall of bottles behind the bar that you will notice before you notice anything else. The cocktails borrow from Thai cooking: the Sa-was-dee-ka is gin infused with tom yum, shaken with pineapple, lemon, lemongrass and bitters, and the Tran Hung Dao puts reposado tequila with mango candy, pineapple, lemongrass and ginger. Head bartender Hazel was nominated for Best Bartender at the Vietnam Cocktail Festival in 2024.
Olly, who runs our partnerships, gives it 9 out of 10: “Thai-inspired cocktails, seriously good food, a great crowd and an atmosphere that just works.” Weekends bring DJs. His move is the dumplings with a couple of cocktails during the late-afternoon happy hour. Check the current times on the partner page before you go.
2. 2 Lam Son, Park Hyatt Saigon
Park Hyatt Saigon, 2 Lam Sơn Square, Sài Gòn Ward (formerly Bến Nghé, District 1). Opens 5pm until late, happy hour daily 5pm to 8pm.
The Park Hyatt’s martini bar, and on Tatler’s Best 20 Bars in Vietnam for 2026. The signature list turns Vietnamese places into drinks: the Village of Sapa (400,000₫) mixes whisky, Cointreau and elderflower with beer and mắc khén, the smoky northern mountain pepper, and the Rock of Ha Long Bay (420,000₫) is built on Hennessy VSOP with Chinese spices, Benedictine and dark cacao.
Martinis run from 380,000₫ for the lychee or Saigon coffee martini to 480,000₫ for the freezer door dry martini, and the whisky cocktails are 615,000₫. Those are the September 2026 menu prices, and service charge and then VAT go on top. Happy hour is the sensible way in.
3. Snuffbox Speakeasy
14 Tôn Thất Đạm, District 1, in the old colonial apartment block that also holds Refined.
One of the bars that brought the speakeasy idea to Saigon, styled on the last years of American Prohibition: red velvet, candlelight, deep shadows and a drinks list that leans on the classics. It is the moodiest room on this page, which makes it the one for a date rather than a group. The entrance is deliberately easy to miss, so look up the partner page for directions before you go.
4. Jackalope Bar
56 Phó Đức Chính, Bến Thành Ward (formerly Nguyễn Thái Bình, District 1).
An American-style whisky bar that is mostly a cocktail bar in practice. Owner Logan keeps a deep shelf of bourbon, rye, Scotch and Irish, the bartenders change a monthly cocktail, and the classic dry martini made with Greenall’s gin is good enough that it leads our guide to the best martinis in Saigon. Fancy without being snobby.
5. Symposium Bar & Lounge
85/5A Phạm Viết Chánh, Thạnh Mỹ Tây Ward (formerly Ward 19, Bình Thạnh).
The cocktail bar on the Phạm Viết Chánh strip that locals call Little Tokyo, which makes it the easiest bar on this list to fold into a longer night. Downstairs is the bar, upstairs is a lounge with a big balcony over the street that doubles as a private event space. Come here for a proper cocktail somewhere that is not District 1 or Thảo Điền.
6. Refined Coffee & Cocktails
14 Tôn Thất Đạm, District 1, in the same building as Snuffbox.
A coffee shop by day and a small cocktail bar by night. It is the only place on this page you can start at breakfast and finish at closing time without moving seats, and the building itself, a colonial-era apartment block full of cafés and vintage shops, is worth the visit on its own. Pair it with Snuffbox for a two-bar night with no taxi in between.
7. The Enigma Mansion
5H Tôn Đức Thắng, Sài Gòn Ward (formerly Bến Nghé, District 1).
Saigon’s highest-ranked bar: No.55 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026, the biggest climb on that year’s extended list, and on Tatler’s Best 20 Bars in Vietnam. Enigma dropped its old neon look in 2024 for a century-old colonial house with exposed brick and several rooms, and the drinks lean on Vietnamese produce. The one the judges singled out is a Sarsi infused with Phú Quốc pepper. The 50 Best guide puts the average cocktail at about US$12, roughly 300,000₫.
8. Stir
First floor, alley 136 Lê Thánh Tôn, Bến Thành Ward (District 1). Open every day.
Tatler’s Vietnam Bar of the Year for 2026 and No.84 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars. Stir sits in an old first-floor apartment looking over Bến Thành Market, decorated like a Saigon home from the 1960s and 70s, and its menu turns Vietnamese street drinks and snacks into cocktails. The Xôi Mít is jackfruit sticky rice in a glass, made with jasmine and smoky Scotch, and the Lục Ngạn Lychee is a lychee martini named after the lychee-growing district in the north, served with an edible cloud. Expect about US$12 a drink.
9. Layla Eatery & Bar
Second floor, 63 Đông Du, Sài Gòn Ward (formerly Bến Nghé, District 1).
Bartender Jay Moir’s bigger bar, upstairs in an old colonial apartment block, and on Tatler’s Best 20 for 2026. Layla gives a whole page of its menu to martinis, fourteen of them, from spicy lychee to absinthe, and it is the best bar on this list for a group that also wants to eat properly.
10. Summer Experiment
Second floor, 77–79 Lý Tự Trọng, Bến Thành Ward (District 1).
Layla’s smaller sister, opened by Jay Moir in 2019, and No.77 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars extended list in 2021. It is on Tatler’s Best 20 again in 2026. The room is green: living walls, a herb terrace and an on-site garden that supplies the menu, which changes with what is growing.
What cocktails cost in Saigon
Only one bar on this page publishes a dated price list. At 2 Lam Son in the Park Hyatt, signatures are 390,000₫ to 420,000₫, martinis 380,000₫ to 480,000₫ and whisky cocktails 615,000₫, with service charge and VAT added (September 2026 menu). The 50 Best guide puts the average cocktail at The Enigma Mansion and Stir at about US$12, or roughly 300,000₫. The others do not publish prices, so we have left them blank rather than guess.
Almost every bar here runs a happy hour in the early evening, and that is where the city’s cocktail prices get sensible. The times change more often than the menus do, so our map of happy hours in Saigon is the place to check on the day.
Where to go for what

How we picked these
The six partners lead because they are partners: they give Saigon Scene members 10% off, and we list them first in every guide where they genuinely fit. We only included partners whose main business is cocktails, which is why several of our bar and wine partners are not here. All six were confirmed as current partners on 5 October 2026. The Racha Room is the one Olly has rated personally so far.
The four non-partners are here on outside evidence: Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026 (published July 2026) and Tatler’s Best of Vietnam 2026 (May 2026). We checked every address against the 2025 ward changes and every price against the venue’s own menu or the 50 Best guide on 5 October 2026. Where a bar does not publish prices or hours, the page says so. A 2025 draft of this guide also listed Satsuma House, The Blinders and MINISTRY. They are not here because they are no longer partners or could not be confirmed this month. Le Café des Stagiaires is still a Saigon Scene partner, but it is a beer bar first, so you will find it in our rooftop bars and Belgian beer guides instead.
