Best Rooftop Bars in Saigon (2026)

Rooftop drinks in Saigon range from about 100,000₫ a cocktail to 350,000₫, and the expensive end comes with a dress code. That is the thing nobody tells you before you turn up in shorts at the twenty-fourth floor.

Ten rooftops below, all checked as trading in September 2026, split by what you’re actually after: a view from a tower, or a terrace where you can hear each other. Five of them give Saigon Scene members 10% off.

1. Momento Rooftop Bar

105 Co Giang, Co Giang Ward, District 1

Skyline views, a DJ most nights and a crowd that turns up to enjoy itself rather than to be photographed. It sits in the Co Giang pocket rather than on a hotel tower, which keeps the prices human and the door policy relaxed.

Go for: a night that starts at sunset and doesn’t have a plan.

2. The Park Rooftop Bar & Lounge

20 Do Quang Dau, Pham Ngu Lao Ward, District 1

Above the Bui Vien end of town but a world away from it — skyline cocktails, room to sit, and a noise level that lets you finish a sentence. The best-value view in District 1 once the member discount is on.

Go for: the view, without the tower prices.

3. Izakaya RŌNIN

13 Pasteur, Nguyen Thai Binh Ward, District 1

A rooftop izakaya, which is a better idea than it sounds — Tokyo bar energy, skewers and highballs, on a Pasteur Street roof. Come for dinner and stay, rather than the other way round.

Go for: eating properly on a roof instead of grazing.

4. Secret Garden

19 Le Cong Kieu Street, Nguyen Thai Binh Ward, District 1

The one on this list that isn’t a bar with a view but a rooftop with a kitchen — rustic, plant-covered, up several flights of an old building off the antiques street, serving Vietnamese food from all three regions. Cheapest round on the list by a distance.

Go for: dinner, and to bring someone who says they don’t like rooftop bars.

5. Le Café des Stagiaires

10 Street No. 54, Thao Dien, Thu Duc

Thao Dien’s terrace, and proof that a rooftop doesn’t need to be twenty floors up to work. Belgian beer, a long afternoon, and no dress code whatsoever.

Go for: Sunday, from about three.

6. Chill Skybar

26th floor, AB Tower, 76A Le Lai, District 1 · happy hour 5:30–8pm daily · cocktails around 350,000₫

Saigon’s original sky bar, twelve years in, and still the one everybody means when they say “rooftop bar”. A circular bar, live performances and the full-height city view. It is also the most expensive drink on this list, and there is a dress code — no shorts, no flip-flops.

Go in happy hour or the bill will surprise you.

Go for: the view, once, properly.

7. Social Club Rooftop Bar

Hôtel des Arts Saigon, 76–78 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, District 3 · 24th floor · cocktails around 320,000₫

Art Deco room, rooftop infinity pool, and the most designed space of the ten. Smart casual is enforced. The cocktails are made properly, which at 320,000₫ they should be.

Go for: an occasion, or the pool at golden hour.

8. Broma: Not A Bar

Off Nguyen Hue, District 1

Three levels — one indoors, two terraces — a short walk from the Nguyen Hue pedestrian street and the river. DJs at weekends, quieter midweek, and small enough that it fills rather than echoes.

Go for: a Friday that starts on a terrace and ends on a dancefloor.

9. Banana Mama Rooftop Bar

10th floor, Mayfair Hotel, 102 ABC Cong Quynh, District 1

Sunset drinks midweek, considerably louder at weekends. No pretension and no dress code, which makes it the honest counterweight to the tower bars up the road.

Go for: a birthday, or a group who won’t agree on anything else.

10. AfterGlow Sky Bar

Thao Dien, Thu Duc

Cocktail-led, and the closest a bar gets to a Thao Dien house party you were actually invited to. Small, and better for it.

Go for: a proper drink on your own side of the river.

What a rooftop night costs, and what to wear

• Hotel and tower bars — 300,000–350,000₫ a cocktail. Chill Skybar and Social Club. Expect a dress code: closed shoes, no vest, no beachwear. Happy hour roughly halves it.
• Independent rooftops — 150,000–250,000₫. Momento, The Park, Broma, Banana Mama, AfterGlow. No dress code worth worrying about.
• Terraces and garden rooftops — under 150,000₫. Secret Garden and Le Café des Stagiaires, where you’re paying for beer and food rather than altitude.

Two practical things. Rain ends a rooftop evening instantly in wet season, roughly May to October — check the sky, and ask whether there’s covered seating before you commit a group. And sunset is around 6pm all year in Saigon, which is unusually consistent; arrive by 5:30 if the view is the point. Prices checked September 2026.
