7 Bridges Brewing

7 Bridges Brewing Co. started in a garage in Da Nang in April 2017 and has grown into one of the best-known names in Vietnamese craft beer, with taprooms in Hanoi, Hoi An and Ninh Binh as well as two in Saigon. At the 2025 Asia Beer Championship it was named Champion Small Sized Brewery, and its Heritage Superdry Rice Lager took Champion Beer of Asia.

Two taprooms in District 1

Đông Du (38 Đông Du, Sài Gòn Ward) opened in January 2024 and is the one to pick if you want choice: 40 taps across three floors, pouring the full 7 Bridges range plus guest beers and cider from other Vietnamese craft producers. Open Sunday to Wednesday 10am–midnight, Thursday to Saturday 10am–1am.

Lê Thánh Tôn (15B/12 Lê Thánh Tôn, in the Japantown alleys) is the late-night option: open daily until 2am, with a terrace over the street and a cocktail bar upstairs. The hours and map on this page are for this taproom.

What to drink

Start with Dragon, the session IPA the brewery is best known for, then try Beach, Sunset and Sơn Trà Haze from the core range. Ask what else is pouring: the award winners, Heritage Superdry Rice Lager and the Yuzu wheat beer (Asia Champion Fruit Beer 2023), turn up alongside a rotating list of seasonal and experimental brews.

Food and zero waste

7 Bridges is a proper place to eat, not just drink. Order the Champion Burger, which made our best burgers in Saigon list, or a pizza with your pint.

Founder Uncle Stanley calls the approach Impact Brewing: using craft beer to do good for the community and the environment. In practice that is a zero-waste mission, with spent grain going into the pizza dough and bread, spent yeast and hops turned into soap, and by-products used in the brewery’s own Dragon Hot Sauce.
