Our take

If you’re looking for a proper sports bar in Saigon, The Rabbit Hole Sports is about as reliable as it gets.

They’ve got locations in Thao Dien and Pham Viet Chanh (PVC), and between the two, they’re my go-to for watching sport in the city.

Football, rugby, UFC, F1, whatever you’re into, they’ll usually have it on. And the best part is they actually make the effort for the big events. UFC at 6am? They’ll open. If there’s something worth watching, they’ll find a way to get it on.

The food is another big reason I keep going. Proper Western pub grub done well, with Sunday roasts, fish and chips and cottage pie being my usual choices.

They’ve also got plenty of beers, cocktails and wine, plus a solid happy hour, so you can easily turn a quick match into an afternoon session.

I’m in there at least twice a week, and Sundays are a regular for me. Good food, good sport, attentive staff and a crowd that actually wants to watch the game.

My score: 9/10.

For a sports bar, it ticks pretty much every box. This is The Scene.
